installation FAQ's:
1. i want to frame my sticview. what sizes should i consider?
custom sized picture frames are much more expensive than standard sizes commonly available in stores. if you want to use a standard size frame, consider the following sizes for your sticviews: 10 x 12, 11 x 14, 16 x 20, 20 x 24, 22 x 28, 20 x 30, 24 x 36, 30 x 40
2. how do i install my sticview?
wipe the surface and wash your hands. align and place your sticviews. apply your sticviews. if your surface is water safe: before your place your sticviews spray your sufrace and the sticky side of the sticview with water. the water acts as a buffer and allows you to arrange and re-arrange the placement of the sticviews.
3. after installing my clear stic with water it left a milky color, what happened?
water causes the adhesive to appear milky at first, but it will become totally clear as it dries completely over the next several days
4. can i save my sticviews to use later?
if you wish to save your sticview after you remove it, save the backing paper that it came on. then, place your sticview on the backing paper after you remove your sticview from its surface
5. will sticviews stick to the walls?
the sticviews cloth stic is the best recommended for sticking to walls. cloth stic can be used for rough walls, slightly textured, fabric, and smooth surfaces. however, white stic for for flat, smooth surfaces, cannot see through on windows. so if you have a flat, smooth wall you can use white stic. cloth stic will offer the best display on a wall of any kind.
6. what can sticviews stick to?
it depends on the material but the different sticviews can be stuck to are: walls, windows, cars, tables, mirrors, toilets, floors, laptops, phones, refrigerator, tile, t-shirts, you name it and it can probably be done. if the item you are wanting stuck isn't listed feel free to email us at the link above.
7. can i reposition my window stic?
the clear vinyl isn't meant to be continually repositioned. you can reposition the material, but you have to be rather careful when peeling back the sticker as to not stretch the material. since the window stic is made with clear vinyl it can be stretched if not careful when removing.
